I think it’s because people have use that drug to dilute urine to mask ped use. Sounds like a bit of a gray area drug like you said I would have checked the list before using anything.

Wow, what a bombshell. So glad it wasn't one of our guys. He shouldn't be allowed to serve the suspension while on the DL. I see now why Rizzuto didn't put him at 2B in his all time Yankee favorites list. For shame Cano, for shame!

The key line here is "MLB does not automatically suspend for diuretics, so the suspension means MLB was able to prove Cano used the substance to mask another drug" so don't give me that bullshit Cano.

Doesn't surprise me. I never fully embraced Robbie in the same way as players like Munson, Mattingly, Bernie, Mariano, Jeter.

Remembering that A-Rod was his "mentor" for a bit. Once again, I hope A-Rod never gets to coach or manage in the Yankee organization...and now that we've moved on...I'm glad we have room for Torres now. I hope I never hear another Cano comparison for him...

I think it to be really goofy that he will be allowed to serve part of his suspension while on the DL recovering from his broken finger...
