Using the Blue Jays to coax more prospects from the Yankees or is this real?
GOD PLEASE ENSURE THE BLUE JAYS GET SOTO = Then next year when Soto is a FA we can sign him without giving up any of our high value prospects. SMART PLAN for us. I WAS with you! Soto is a rental and after the Dodgers just gave two players a combined BILLION dollars, there's no way Soto is signing an extension with the Yankees! He will put up big numbers and become a FA and wind up with the Dodgers! |

You may have a voice like the spawn of Bob Goldthwait and Carol Kane for all I know, so I’m going out on a limb here… Actually, I was somewhat popular calling baseball games, academic competitions, graduation ceremonies, awards' nights, talent shows, and track meets. When I was a school site administrator, the students every year or so asked me, "Mr. Rizzuto, who is that radio guy that does morning announcements?" I would tell them it was a famous professional speaker and former DJ that wanted to remain anonymous, and we paid in Twizzlers and Red Vines. One day my door was open and some of the students saw it was me on the microphone and the game was over. I become quite ham-ish with a microphone in my hands. Spotlights that blind you from seeing an audience is torturous and disconcerting. Also, the sound delay at track meets takes a little while to acclimate and become comfortable. You have to mentally convince yourself to stop listening to what is coming out of the speakers and trust yourself. |

The Pitch clock turns me off! For me though, it's a tough listen, because almost everything they say turns into an ad! Really annoying!  Everything they say or report ends in "brought to you by" |
