Using the Blue Jays to coax more prospects from the Yankees or is this real?
GOD PLEASE ENSURE THE BLUE JAYS GET SOTO = Then next year when Soto is a FA we can sign him without giving up any of our high value prospects. SMART PLAN for us. I wonder what is so potentially sensitive about this photo of Soto. Perhaps because he’s an “offensive” player? 😂…

The Padres are looking to obtain a package that they might have gotten for Soto last season at the trade deadline. The hour has passed. I don’t get the ask, unless you just call it throwing (mud) at the wall to see if it will stick…

Just get a deal done Cashman! If I read this right, Cashman won't trade King or Thorpe. He better not screw this up.

I hope Heyman is just being Heyman with wrong information.

I hope Heyman is just being Heyman with wrong information. I don't know if Heyman has any connections in the Yankee front office or not. I think this all blows over and next week, during the winter meetings, San Diego and the Yankees will come to an agreement.

I think this all blows over and next week, during the winter meetings, San Diego and the Yankees will come to an agreement. We’re now doubly incentivized to complete the deal. We don’t want the Blue Jays to get him, not even for a year… It seems strange to me that San Diego didn’t read their own financial situation better when they traded for Soto last year. To make that kind of investment and then give up on their master plan so quickly is quite odd…

Depending upon the entire package, if King and/or Thorpe is the price, you have to make that trade. The Yankees can always get King and Thorpe back if they thrive and hit free agency. I'm tired of the richest team in professional sports behaving like a small-market, cash-strapped organization for their own profit margins with no championships to show for it. If they were winning championships, fine, but neither Hal nor Cashman-Magoo has won a championship - let alone get to one - without Pettitte, Rivera, Posada, and Jeter in uniform.

Dome, Juan Soto is the left handed Aaron Judge. I would never look to give away kids like Jones or Thorpe, but sometimes there's exceptions and Juan Soto is one of those exceptions.

I’m almost 70, and I’ve been watching the game over 60 years. There was always a “Next Mickey Mantle”, yet there never was another Mantle. Then, there’d be a new Koufax on the horizon, only he’d hurt his arm and wind up selling insurance. Prospects aren’t anything until they hit MLB. Then and only then can they be evaluated. That’s why what you do is called prospect hugging and gets ridiculed by most fans…
