Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Hopefully, they are going to flip him to San Diego. League average player. OBP and batting average have gone down for three straight years. His best years were 2019 (live ball year) and 2020 (60 game season). Is he a stopgap if they cannot land Soto? |

Verdugo can play LF & RF but I'm not sure about CF. I like Rizz's idea, flip him to San Diego as part of a package for Soto.

Gross 🤢. This better not mean anything regarding getting Soto. That will be a huge disappointment if Verdugo is the starting LF this year. Great opportunity for Weissert who should stick in the major now. I wouldn't be surprised if Fitts pitches in the major leagues this season. |

I mentioned a while back that Verdugo has been benched more than once. I don't get this move, but I think Cashman falls in love with certain players and can't let go.
