Other than holmes , maybe khanle and maybe a couple of prospects . It is a bit thin talent wise . Like it or not king and peralta were a big loss to the bullpen . Holmes, Jon-Lo, Hamilton, Gil, Krook, Ramirez, Poteet, Morris, Marrinaccio, Effross, Kahnle, Gonzalez. That's 12 pitchers for 8 roster openings. If that's not depth then what is.
King became a starter, and Gonzalez takes Perelta's place.
Most of those guys arent proven . And king was a big part of the bullpen until he was made a starter last september . There is a lot of question marks in that bullpen , especially guys like poteet , effros and gil . The latter two coming back from tjs . |

Let's hope it's not quantity over quality. I see a bunch of question marks in that list. I still think we bring in a more established BP arm.
55, I look at it this way.. Effross pitched well for the Yankees, he takes King's place when King was in the Pen. Weaver will probably pitch out of the Pen too. Gonzalez takes Perelta's place. The Yankee traded for Morris. So maybe the Yankees might see him and Weaver taking Kahnle and or Jon-Lo's place?
I think the Yankees still need a Closer, I thought that Hicks would get a lot more money. I hear that the Giants might start him. I know it's a Hail Mary pass, but as you know for months I have wanted the Yankee to sign Hader.

One thing I will give Cash credit for is he has gotten value from BP arms who weren't household names. I'm a bit surprised Peralta wasn't brought back (maybe he will be). I thought he performed well in multiple roles. |

Same as the Inf Depth ... Is it quality depth or is it just warm bodies ??? Im My opinion these guys are either terrible or unproven Krook, Ramirez, Poteet, Morris, Marrinaccio, Ramirez and Poteet are dumpster dives ... any team could have had them if they wanted them |
