Dog hater or protective father? Good question. Some people fear the mastiff family because they look so mean in the face. Brandy overcame that with most people because she had a constant smile on her muzzle. She wasn’t happy when we first got there because of the crowds. Once we settled in on that sidewalk she got into people watching… My sister had 2 Bullmastiffs. Their play toys were bowling balls.

This thread got TOTALLY off topic. Still would like a separate tab for trivial discussions.. Well, the thread title does say "Things that have NOTHING to do with the Yankees" We've never had a separate tab or forum for non-baseball discussion because of the small number of posters we had didn't warrant it. Once the season starts, if it becomes an issue Kay will consider it. 😂😂😂😂. Kind of what I expected when I clicked on the thread. I wondered if it was going to be in astrophysics. I would have loved that…

They just prefer an environment of calm.

Sheep farmer’s dogs had an unexpected litter of six. three males and one bitch still for sale, asking $300 each, cheap for the breed. With parents that are herders I would expect excellent stock… So tempting for me, but it goes against the grain of our desire to downsize…

Not a mastiff story, but when I got my Great Pyrenees he went bounding across the yard and brought home a small tree limb and laid it at my feet. He was only 10 weeks old. He passed away about 5 years ago. Since the time he found that stick in KY, I’ve moved from KY to MD, to CO. I still have the stick…
