I heard through the grapevine that Hal and Steve have ordered there managers to play the "starters" in a must win game! This is the biggest game since Clemens threw ( tossed ) the bat at Piazza! So, all hands on board! BTW I will miss the game do to therapy ( nap )

MLB Network didn't think Yankees/Mets was worth putting on television.

MLB Network didn't think Yankees/Mets was worth putting on television. It says ESPN will televise it.

Not the best lineup! I guess the stars don't make any road trips anymore. They all get Mo Rivera treatment during spring training.

I'm curious to see what happens with Rortvedt. Cash seems to like him and he's out of options. If he can't make a deal he likes is there a chance he stays on the 26 and Wells is sent to AAA? IMO, that would be the wrong move even if it is just to give him more time to make a deal.

If they cut him he may be picked up by someone. In either event, the Donnelly trade is finally over. (except for the 6 million dollars that he is still collecting for this year). ------Oburg Bob

With 5, 6, and 7 hitters Oswald Peraza, Oswaldo Cabrera and Oscar Gonzalez, the Yankees are the first team in the history of MLB to not only have 3 players in the lineup whose 1st names begin with O, but also 3 players back t back with 1st names beginning with O. I actually don’t know if this is true, but I'm throwing it out there.

Seriously ... Why even play the game if you are going to put that crap lineup ?? You already know Volpe, Wells and Peraza are coming north ... give thse 3 a day off, cut 1/3 of the team and send the other 1/3 to AA/AAA Who's benifitting from this ...the coaches?

ESPN is going over the top hyping this game when it counts for a nothing burger. For sure it's a good way to spend a rainy day in NY.
