I don't believe Yankees batters has seen much of Valdez of late. Perhaps they want someone with more experience to lead off. Volpe has never faced him. Volpe is sandwiched between two LH hitters.

There's going to be plenty of opportunities for young Anthony to drive in runs. He's one of the keys to the Yankees having a great season. |

Here we go, opening day has arrived. Lineup is what was expected. What can be better, the crack of the bat, and the pop of the mitt. Lets go Yankees!!!
