Judge might be "The Guy", but Soto is the better hitter. Still, Judge should have two MVP's. I agree with the both of you.

Why are the Astros utilizing their closer in a losing game? Great question.

I know it's blasphemy to say anything about Jeter but everyone knows A-Rod was a better all around player than Jeter BUT Jeter needed to be on a higher pedestal. I don't think Judge is like that. Right now Judge could arguably be the best player in the game. Soto is younger and a charismatic figure with his shuffle and ceiling. Judge wants and needs a Championship and I think as a Caption he knows what makes the team better and complete.

Who's the POTG? Cabrera With honorable mention...Soto? Volpe? Was Hamilton the pitcher of record? In my opinion, Cabrera and Stroman. Stroman was the pitcher of record.

Any reports to Sterling's hr calls? I posted Soto's. Two posts above yours. I didn't know you posted it. LOL! In the background it sounds like he gave Suzyn a good laugh.

I was a little surprised that they kept Stroman in for 100 pitches in his first start. All the 3 pitchers so far have had gritty starts and just kept fighting and came out on top.

Neither Gleyber or Judge are hitting, and Yanks are winning. That's a good thing...

I have no idea if it's affecting him...doesn't seem to have changed his approach in the ABs I've seen so far, and it shouldn't. I have said that I wasn't crazy about Gleyber hitting leadoff...I'd rather see him in the middle of the order, but there doesn't seem to be any other options at this point. The only possibilities in my mind would be Volpe or Cabrera, and I wouldn't want to mess with either as they both seem comfortable where they're at now.

Nice!
I have another Iftar(breaking fast for Ramadan) party, this time at my mom's house. I'll be watching and posting when I can from mobile but anthony will take care of the HR pictures. You the man anthony! Enjoy.
I'm having homemade Italian Easter pie for breakfast while I read this thread. Sounds yummy!

No way they should move Volpe or Cabrera right now. Also I'm far from convinced that Cabrera is all of a sudden Juan Soto jr Maybe Verdugo as leadoff ?

I thought about Verdugo...might be the best choice at this point. Yanks don't really have a "traditional" leadoff hitter...even if DJ is healthy. No one is comparing Cabrera to Soto, but there's no denying his contributions to this point. Of course he'll eventually come back to earth, just like every other hitter.
