Hangs the slider inner half, and McCormick barely misses, flies out to Verdugo in fairly deep left center. Inning over.
With no chance for a save, Astros go to Hader in a tie game for the top of the 9th vs. Trevino, Cabrera and Torres.
Burdi threw 7 pitches to get out of the 8th, and probably gets the 9th if it's still tied.
Trevino has faced Hader once and K'd.

Torres gets a favorable call on a slider that was in the zone, then gets a sinker in, and hits an inside out jam job pop into right for single, getting Soto a swing.
Takes a sinker at the top for a strike.
