Soto 2-3 with a RBI and a BB vs. Castro Swings under a sinker at the top, trying to blast one Tries to check on a Sinker above the zone, can't 0-2 3rd sinker way high, Soto takes. 1-2 Low slider in the zone, fools Soto, he rolls it over to Marte, who throws him out, inning over Bottom 6, 5-1 Yanks. Offense has gone silent since Nelson I left the game Half Nelson and then Full Nelson.  |

Walker reaches for a 1st pitch cutter outside, pops to short right, Soto gets there with a sliding catch, 2 down
FB way up and away, 1-0 on Pederson
Cutter way outside, 2-0
Misses a 94 FB on the outside corner, 2-1
Fouls off a high cutter, 2-2
Bounces a change outside 3-2
WOW TERRIBLE CALL
Cutter on the inside corner had plenty of the plate, but all of a sudden, Vanover's K zone gets awfully small, ball 4.
60% strike on gameday,

0-2 FB misses up and away, 1-2 on Suarez who's 3 for 9 vs. Weaver with 2 BB and 4 K
Two more FB out of the zone up/away, and the count goes full, and Pederson will go on the pitch.
Cutter outside by 4-5 inches gets Suarez reaches and he rolls it over to Cabrera who throws him out to end the inning.
Top 7, 5-1 Yanks
Weaver's stuff isn't dominating, but he's getting it done. Maybe one more inning for him?
28 pitches in Weaver's 1 1/3 so far
Judge, Rizzo and Stanton for the Yanks, probably against a different releiver.

Castro stays in. Judge is 0-7 against him with 2 K and 3 BB.
Slider outside, Judge checks in time
Slider in the zone for strike, 1-1
Sinker just below middle, Judge misses it, fouls it off, 1-2
Change runs inside, makes Judge jackknife, 2-2
Slider inside 3rd jams Judge a bit, his soft line is caught with a leap by Marte, backing up,1 down
Mantiply coming in to face Rizzo and Stanton, at least.

Rizzo 1-1 vs. Mantiply, Stanton has never faced him
Mantiply: Lefty junkballer, FB at 88 (probably a sinker) about 40%, Change at about 80 also about 40% and slider at 78, about 20% of the time
