Just an FYI, Lauren. When ever you type three consecutive question marks on this forum, it comes out reading one question mark and a frowny face. I have no idea why. Like this: ?😟, sort of. It’s a frowny face that’s not on my keyboard. I used to do it until people started asking me why the frowny face? … The three question marks only display as a frowny face on mobile. It’s an issue with the default emojis that I can’t change by conventional means. When I get home I’ll ask support if they can suggest anything. You mean, like voodoo? Don't mess with that stuff, Kay.

This game ended with my phone at 1%. I had to celebrate silently… Let’s pluck the feathers off the Jays… here in vermont, just at the start of a major winter storm. right now sounds like my roof is about to blow off. power went out just after holmes allowed the tying run. didn't come back on after gleyber's hit leading off the 11th.
actually that gleyber hit set up the 11th. in addition to getting on base to score the winning run, the hit got berti to 3B where he scored on the balk. did something similar in sunday's game to score ahead of soto's game winner off hader.
as for holmes, thought he pitched well enough. he got 4 ground balls in the 10th - one that volpe made a bad throw on and was knocked out of rizzo's glove by perdomo's helmet. and the tying run was on a dunker between the mound and 2nd base. not much you can do.
My weatherman said you guys were gonna get nailed. Be safe, bumper! …

Large group of Verdugo friends & family, sitting behind me, had come up from Tucson to cheer him on. Went ballistic when he hit that bomb...

Yankee fans took over the ballpark. Sounds like a home game. I’m loving it… At least 50% on the 1B/RF side...maybe more.

At least 50% on the 1B/RF side...maybe more. Watching a replay right now and there's a loud "Let's Go Yankees" chant going on while Soto is batting. Judge is about to go deep.

As I previously said in another thread, I'd seriously consider him to close. No nonsense...

At least 50% on the 1B/RF side...maybe more. I watched a few Yankee games in Baltimore that were like that… But that far away from NY is doubly cool…

An easy drive from NY and a lot cheaper to attend games. Plus...the surrounding area & Inner Harbor are very cool.

I watched a few Yankee games in Baltimore that were like that… But that far away from NY is doubly cool… Probably a lot of retired New Yorkers living out there. They're starting to pass on the Southeast/Florida & come this way. But also a lot of Yankee fans with very little, if any, connection to NY. Not uncommon in other parts of the country.
