Breaks out the rare curve and misses down and in. Slider is 85-7, Curve is 80.
FB in a bad location just low and inside middle middle, fouled off the right side, 1-1
FB high, taken, 2-1
Flies open and misses up and away, 3-1
So far, Rodon has topped out at 95.9
FB up and in fouled off. Klaxon. feh.
Slider thigh high in the middle, but de la Cruz doesn't square it up, hits a fliner to shortish right, Soto comes in a few steps, catches, inning over.
Bottom 3, 1-0 Yanks. 14 pitch 1-2-3 and 42 through 3 for Rodon.
