Sinker in the zone above the knees, Bell grounds it sharply but right to Volpe, who turns a 6-6-3 DP, two down.

obviously they're doing a platoon w ocab & berti but not sure how you can justify it w berti and his .400 OPS. Yawn. Small samples… Berti is better than what he’s shown and Oz is obviously not quite what he’s shown…

An efficient inning for Stroman. Time to provide some run support.

Burger works the count full.. then misses a sinker that got a piece of the outside corner, thigh high, K, inning over.
Bottom 5, 4-0 Marlins. 12 pitches for Stroman in the 5th, and at 94, he might be done for tonight.
Trevino, Volpe and Soto for the Yanks, as they start to get their 3rd look at Weathers.

Pleased that Stroman recovered and gave us five. 95 pitches? He may be done, or maybe Boone will try to steal another out or two before he opens the pen gate…

Yep. He made it through 5 even after struggling most of the game.

This inning would be a lot more promising if Trevino could get on base. Any way at all.

Trevino gets to 2-2, then spoils a couple. Change near middle, lined to left, but Gordon gets a good jump and gets back to it near the track toward the corner, 1 down.

Volpe grounds one up the middle, but Arraez backhands moving toward 2nd, sets and throws him out, 2 down.
