Arraez works the count to 2-1, then gets a thigh high slider middle out and slaps it through the 56 hole for a RBI single. Gordon scores, Fortes to 2nd still with nobody out. Stroman now at 53 pitches.

I’m thinking of Torres being dropped to #6. Perhaps he’s been pushing himself to see more pitches, and now starting to feel the pressure to perform to earn his big upcoming payday. I think the move may help him, allow him to open up and be a bit more aggressive. Contract years don’t always end up being great years. There are millions at stake for him… I had suggested Volpe to the leadoff spot last week based on his ability to get on base and steal although you did not think Volpe would steal more than 20 bases this year. I would take the over. Torres is not a leadoff hitter. Too streaky. I had also suggested he move into the 5 or 6 slot just like Boone did. Better suited for that part of the lineup. Looks like Boone maybe reads this Board.  Out of the lead off spot, I’ll take the over, too… |

Stroman gets ahead of Bell, then gets a gift on 0-2 as the cutter misses by an inch or two down and in, but Trevino steals the call for the >|, 1 down.

That must be more than just a screen door. It’s a security door with a dead bolt and a screen that supposedly impossible to cut and glued in with an impervious glue that is 100% non- removable… we need airflow in this house in warm weather… And we need a deadbolt so our little assh*le can’t hit a simple latch and get out the door… if all goes as planned wd expect to sleep with the front door open and just the locked screen door… Noetsi's staying with you? |

oh, spit.
Leaves an 0-1 cutter hanging just outside middle middle and Burger pounds it (!) into the Marlins bullpen in left center. 3 run HR makes it 4-0 Marlins.
