Same pitch called a ball against Naylor is a strike to Freeman.
Drops a curve into the top outside corner.
curve out of the zone, low/away, gets a lunging swing from Freeman, he chops it to the left of 2nd, where Volpe is waiting to turn an easy 6-6-3 DP
Inning over.
Not a 1-2-3, but just 11 pitches for Schmidt for the three hitters he faced, and 59 through 4.
So far, so good.
Top 5, 1-0 Yanks.
Top of the order: Volpe, Soto, Judge.

I usually wait until almost midnight the day it's due. Really miss my wife, who used to have our taxes done in late January or early February, depending upon when the mail delivered our W-2s. I do mine early just to get it out of the way. Got everything done and sent to my accountant in February. You over-achiever you! Sarah enjoyed doing stuff like taxes. I just cannot stand it and procrastinate until I have to get it done. Also, I always have to pay now since I don't have the deductions I once did. We used to get refunds. Not anymore. It just makes no sense to me that the government takes everything out of your check before you get paid, so why have to file taxes at all? Other countries do it that way. |

My taxes were so simple this year. Just file for the state tabor.
So now I get a letter to go on line to “prove it’s me”, and I can’t even get my account to open. So that means I have to call the department of revenue and probably wait about hours before any one answers…

Twins and Tigers underway. Mets and Royals soon.
Last night, of the other East teams, only the Rays won.
So the Yanks started today 2 up on the O's, 2 1/2 up on the Rays, 3 1/2 up on the Sox, and 4 1/2 up on the Jays
Volpe goes the other way hard with a thigh high FB down the middle, lines it to the gap in right center, but Brennan makes an awkward catch sliding to his right.

1st pitch to Soto is a slider that wound up an inch or two high, but called strike 1 anyway.
Has worked the count to 2-2.
Last pitch was a slider not a sinker Jeff.
FB up in the zone, hit sharply but right to Gimenez, who throws him out, 2 down.
