FB at the top in the middle, Freeman makes good contact but is late and fouls it off.
Hangs the change outside and Freeman spoils.
FB inside corner at 94 ties up Freeman, and his pop is caught by Rizzo halfway down the 1st base line. Arias goes back to 1st
Ramirez up.

Cutter inside, Ramirez turns on it and belts it hard but foul down the left side.
Wow. Can't believe he took that FB thigh high down the middle. Must've been looking change.
FB up and away out of the zone, fouled back.
He was looking change the whole at bat, and unfortunately, Nestor left that one hanging in the zone low and away where he could reach it, and he hammers it down the line in left for a 2 run HR, 3-2 Yankees.

Looks like the beginnings of a fun game. Certainly Cortes got some quick run support. Let's see him make it stick.

Cutter just outside and below middle middle on the 1st pitch to Naylor, he pulls a rope toward the corner in right for a 2 out double.
Nestor's stuff is good, but his command isn't. Too many pitches left up in the zone and in the middle of the plate.
