16 pitches for Bassitt in the 5th, 76 through 5. It'll be interesting to see if they leave Gil in to face Guerrero, Bichette and Turner for a 3rd look. He’s averaged 100+ pitches per start this year… |

Slider misses outside at the knees, called a strike anyway, 0-1.
Tries to roll over on a sinker but fouls it down, 0-2
Splitter well low, 1-2
Chases a good sinker diving inside, and almost starts a DP again, fouling it off his front leg.
