Grisham is beyond useless ... Oh Wait ... He's an "Elite Center Fielder", That makes up for everything! Unfortunately, they have to keep Grisham around to be "Judge's legs" at least until Rodriguez gets back. And even then, Yanks might send Rodriguez to AAA so he can play every day. 2-0 on Rizzo. |

But Nobody seems to care The reason why Rizzo is getting cut some slack so far is that this type of play is unusual for him. It is however, typical for Torres, which is why he doesn't get the same slack, at least defensively. Rizzo works the count to 2-1, then rolls over on a thigh high sinker inside half, hits it sharply to Biggio, who starts an easy 4-6-3 DP to kill the inning. Leadoff walk goes nowhere, 3-1 Jays, going bottom 6. Kirk, Varsho and Falefa in the 6th for the Jays. Marinaccio in for the Yanks, probably. |

Changeup on the inside corner, low in the zone, and as he did with the slider in the same spot, Kirk is right on it, lines it up the middle, Volpe gives to his left, can't get it, goes for a leadoff single.

Falefa gets a FB with some sink low in the zone on 0-1, grounds it to the left of 2nd, Volpe picks it up and turns the 6-6-3 DP.
Marinaccio seems to have taken some stuff off his pitches for better command, and so far, it's working. Not sure if it'll last long, but he's not walking the ballpark, at least so far.
