1-0 sinker misses outside 3-4 inches, called strike 1 anyway. Bad call for Tuner Slider misses, 2-1. No chance slider misses low/away, 3-1. Gets away with a location error. Sinker was supposed to tail near the corner away, instead tails right down the middle, but Turner misses, pops foul to Wells back near the screen, 2 down.

Biggio was NEVER as good as Bichette and Guerrero, not nearly as good in the minors, always had a much higher K rate. Falls behind 0-2, takes a FB in the middle that barely brushes the bottom of the zone, just 5% on Gameday. Biggio argues the marginal call. ꓘ, inning over.
Top 4, 2-0 Jays. Good bounceback inning for Stroman against the Jays 3-4-5, a 13-pitch 1-2-3 inning and he's at 59 through 3.
Stanton, Torres Verdugo vs. Gausman in the 4th.

Twins rallied to take a 2-1 lead in the 7th, but the O's came back AGAIN, tying it in the bottom and winning it on a walkoff 2 run HR by Mullins. There'll be no regression for that team. Actually, in spite of the fact that this is a very good division, they're poised to dominate the East the next 3-4 years.

Stanton works the count to 3-2. As a result of the Orioles win, they're moved up to tie the Yanks for the divisional lead. Swings over a perfectly located splitter, low over the middle of the plate, and K's, 1 down.

2-1 on Torres. Blows the FB by Torres above the zone, 2-2 Splitter dives inside, but Torres chases it and fouls it off his foot. You're never hitting that, Gleyber. FB well inside is ball 4, but Gleyber chases and fouls it off. Got a hittable splitter, thigh high inside corner, but Gleyber pulls it foul off 3rd. Slider outside is ball 5 and the count is 3-2 Loads up and swings under a FB up in the zone at 94, K. 2 down. 3 K's in a row for Gausman.

What the heck is Torres swinging at? Plate discipline for this team is horrid.

The Stanton we know is back. Gausman is now a particularly bad matchup for Stanton because of his loss of bat trigger speed. Verdugo grounds the 1-1 to Schneider, throws him out, inning over. Easy inning for Gausman, Yanks made him throw 18 pitches, but hit nothing remotely hard. 77 through 4. Bottom 4, 2-0 Jays. Schneider, Varsho & Kirk for the Jays in the 4th

What the heck is Torres swinging at? Plate discipline for this team is horrid. If you mean the splitter and FB way inside, yeah. The last FB was in the zone.

The Stanton we know is back. We tend to react to Stanton with horrible impatience. In the five games before today his line is .250 .318 .450 .768 , with a double, an HR and three RBI… Bit I also feel like his hot streak is over and he’s useless. He lives by different standards…

FB up and in, 2-1 on Schneider. Sinker way outside 3-1. Backs a sinker over the outer 3rd and Schneider fouls it off, 3-2. Jams him with a FB up and in, popped in front of the mound, Stroman loudly calls everyone off, and catches, 1 down.

Varsho takes ball 1, then gets a slurve thigh high down the middle, serves it to Volpe one 1 hop in back of 2nd, thrown out 6-3, 2 down.
