This is disappointing. I like DJ but I think he is done and might just need to retire if can't get healthy. I like Rizzo and think he offsets Judge sort've like Jeter and Posada but he looks done.

Trevino is what he is but not a star. I want Wells to get the same treatment as Volpe last year. I like seeing this develop as a platoon. In time Wells can earn more starts…. Wells will get his chance. It's his opportunity to work Trevino out of a job, just as Posada did to Girardi. Rice is the only catcher in the high minors that is actually hitting, and with Narvaez and Ramirez occupying 40 man spots (and not hitting), Rice is a long way away. I could see Rice moving up to AAA in June and them designating Breaux. |
