Slider low and away in the zone, he should be stepping in and taking that to right for at least a sac fly, but he pulls off on it and barely knocks it out of play foul. FB outside, 1-2 Slider knee high outside, Torres chases and fouls it off FB up and away, 2-2 26 pitches in this inning for Ross so far. That's the way Gleyber!!! FB below the waist outside middle, and he inside outs a liner up the right center gap, rolls to the wall for a bases clearing double as Rizzo makes it home with no play because the relay got dropped,
3 run double makes it 6-1 Yanks!!!

Major mistake by Ross and Gleyber drives in more runs in that AB than he has all season.

Wells gets a first pitch change just below middle, drives it high and deep to center, dies a step from the wall, Perkins catches, Torres tags and goes to 3rd with 2 down. ANOTHER hard hit ball by Wells for almost nothing.

Quickly 2-0 on Cabrera, but he rolls over a change to Hoskins, takes it to the bag himself, inning over. Yanks get to Ross for 3 more, and lead 6-1, going bottom 3rd. 31 pitches for Ross in the 3rd, and 69 through 3 Chourio, Wiemer and Contreras for the Brewers in the 3rd.
Must get the struggling Chourio and Wiemer and force Contreras to hit with 2 outs and nobody on.

As you are a Yankee fan, I'll allow that. You might never have seen a bases clearing double, at least not in the last 2-3 years. And good evening, pres.

FB at the top, taken for a strike to Chourio. Fouls off a change away, then a FB at the top, 0-2

Spikes a back leg slider about 5 feet in front of home, 1-2 Much better back leg slider completely baffles Chourio for the K, 1 down. Good job not letting the slumping rookie breathe, Rodon, even if he is on my fantasy team. Now do the same with Wiemer.

Curve backs up way outside, ball 1 to Wiemer Fb inside corner, swung over, but Wells whiffs on it and it hits him hard in the leg. 1-1 FB in, popped well over the screen back of home, 1-2 Sharp back leg slider, but Wiemer spits on it, 2-2 Another sharp slider going well low, Wiemer swings over it, K, 2 down. Rodon's slider looks much sharper tonight than it has so far this year

Best way to face Contreras, 2 outs, nobody on. FB at the knees is strike 1 Change bounced, 1-1 Change outside 2-1 Slider hits the top outside corner, not called, 3-1. Rodon got squeezed on that one. FB down and in, ball 4. So much for a fast inning for Rodon. 13 pitches so far.

Adames up. Slider starts outside breaks sharply to the middle of the zone, Bad location, but good movement FB hit sharply to center, but Judge goes back and to his right on the fliner, gets there, turns and catches, inning over. Good inning for Rodon, not a slam the door shutdown, but a shutdown nonetheless.
15 pitches and 53 through 3 for Rodon.
Top 4, 6-1 Yanks Top of the order for the Yanks get their 3rd look at Ross: Volpe, Soto and Judge.

Greetings, teammates. Checking in late tonight, what a pleasant surprise. Even a clutch 3-run double from Gleyber! Would be nice if we could get at least 6 out of Rodon after stretching the pen last night a bit. Hold the line...
