1st pitch st high slider, outer half, and he's lucky Henderson took it for strike 1
Cutter inside just below the waist, 1-1.
Cutter low in the zone, popped to short left, Judge calls off Volpe, and catches, inning over.
That last pitch could've been nailed, but Schmidt did just fine working out of that self-created jam.
Top 6, 1-0 O's. 22 pitches for Schmidt in that inning, and 78 through 5.
Rizzo, Stanton and Torres for the Yanks.
They're missing Verdugo tonight. He'd have gotten a key single or sac fly already for them.

I got home from grocery gettin’ in the second inning.been watching while packing the groceries away, including repackaging some hamburgers. Now I’m helping cook spaghetti because Ruthie is having breathing issues… Has the weather affected her any? |

FB runs outside waist high, and Rizzo chases and misses, 0-1.
Tried to jump a 1st pitch FB but it was out of the zone.
Back leg slider taken, 1-1
FB about 5-6 inches outside, chased and fouled, Should be 3-0 here, Anthony.
Takes the curve low, 2-2
That would've been ball 4, although he wouldn't have thrown that on 3-1
Change tails well outside, and THAT would've been ball 4. 3-2
FB is low by an inch or two, but it's called strike 3 anyway. Blown call by May, ꓘ, instead of a walk. Rutschmann pulled it up noticeably and stole the call.

FB up and in makes him lean back, full count.
Sharp breaking slider in the zone most of the way, takes a left turn outside, but Stanton spoils, still 3-2
Change down and in, ball 4
You know what, Rizzo DESERVED that bad call, chasing the 1st and 3rd fastballs outside for a strike and a foul
With better discipline he walks well before that bad call.

FB waist high inside corner, and Wells gets the hands in and lines it over WEstburg for a hit....
AND LMAO, Stanton freezes on the line, it one hops to Santander, who throws Stanton out 9-6 force, STEALING ANOTHER HIT FROM WELLS.
