Stanton takes a cutter for a strike.
Cutter more like a slider outside, 1-1
Cutter at 84 breaks outside, fouled down, 1-2
FB 2-3 inches above the outside corner, 2-2
FB up and in gives Stanton a shave, 3-2
Back to the slider I'd think.
Tries to freeze him on the front door with the slider/cutter but it backs up inside for ball 4.

Rizzo set up for a GIDP here...
Cutter inner 3rd and Rizzo hammers a bullet on one hop to Mouncastle that almost knocks him over as he gloves the short hop, they get the force easily, and the relay to Mateo is in time to get Rizzo for the ordinary 3-6-4 GIDP.

Geez, how many line drives are they going hit right at these guys? Your point is taken, but technically, that was a 1 hop smash. 1-1 cutter, Torres rolls it over to Urias for out #3. Bottom 2, 0-0 Despite the 6 pitch walk by Stanton, just 10 pitches in the 2nd, and 19 through 2 for Kremer. Santander, Westburg and Mateo for the O's in the 2nd. |

Cutter into the middle near the top, fouled back, 2-1
FB just outside middle, and popped behind first down the line in right, Rizzo knows Soto is way over in the right center gap, Soto has time to get there, but Rizzo takes the play, can't catch, it falls for a very cheap leadoff double
In fact, Soto was there and could've caught that one.

Change low/away, grounded to Torres, and Torres commits another stupid, throws for the runner at 3rd, a perfect throw gets him, but there's no lane for the throw and it hits Santander, gets away, Santander scores, 1-0 O's
You don't make that play, ever. Not early in a 0-0 game, especially. Might open up a big inning for the O's
