I like Maxey and he was a big time steal from where they drafted him. I just wonder how much better they would be if they could have found a way to keep Butler, instead of losing him and signing Tobias Harris to that absurd contract. Butler is a tough hombre. I was never quite sure why he didn't work out. All kinds of rumors. Butler wanted to live in Miami and he hated Ben Simmons. |

Slider down and in, 1-0 on Volpe
FB way high, 2-0
Swings through a waist high cutter on the corner inside, 2-1
Misses a FB in almost the same spot, missing under it, somehow, 2-2
Sinker low over the middle, Volpe chases and barely spoils, fouling it down.
FB about 3-4 inches inside saws Volpe off, maybe broke the bat, and the soft roller to short is scooped up by Henderson who throw out Volpe, 2 down.

Cutter gets a tiny piece of the corner low/away, doesn't get the Soto-call, 1-1
Yankee hitting coach just got tossed for arguing the 1-0 call to Soto.
Gameday says it was a 5-10% strike.

Big slow curve over the middle, thigh high, fouled off.
Cutter low, 2-2
Slider in almost the same spot, well low over home, 3-2
Letter high cutter over the middle, lined to right for a 2 out single.
