O's Reds finally postponed.
Nats have rallied for 4 in the 7th, lead the Jays 5-3
Mets got 4 back in the 5th, still trail the Rays 10-7 in the 6th in Tampa.
The Red Hot Twins (10 game winning streak) lead the Sox 1-0 in the 3rd.

I'm good, I have a half marathon tomorrow morning that starts at 7:00 AM, so it's an early evening for me. You're an inspiration, my friend! Here's to a beverage after the run!  Thanks. Then my daughter has her final high school play in the afternoon, so I might be falling asleep once the lights go out and the curtain rises. |

Busier than a one-legged man at a butt-kicking contest. Glad to be relaxing now. How are thing going? I'm good, I have a half marathon tomorrow morning that starts at 7:00 AM, so it's an early evening for me. Of course you do, Chi.

Hamilton falls behind Cahha 2-0.
Then hits the bottom of the zone with ainker, 2-1
Sinker inside swung over, 2-2
Sinker at the top, spoiled
Slider in the zone, Canha hits it well to deep right, Soto turns right then back to his left, but hauls it in on the track, Rogers tags and moves to 3rd with 2 down.

Victor Gonzalez will face Wencel Perez, lefty on lefty. I doubt Perez has ever faced him before, at least in the majors, but I'll check anyway.
OK, confirmed.
Actually no one on the Tigers has faced Gonzalez before, except for Canha, who just batted, and backup catcher Carson Kelly.
So no pitcher vs. batter stats for me to check. For now.

Danger pitch here.
Perez is a switch hitter as O'Neill says. That's one of the things I didn't know about him.

Matt Vierling a righty, comes in to PH for Carpenter, a lefty, and Boone is stuck, as Gonzalez must stay in here.
If I remember right, Vierling had a big hit or two against the Yanks last season.

She's staying at home and going to a local school, Governor's State. She going to be a teacher. |
