Verdugo with a nice job in left field, as usual.

Sinker down the middle, 0-1 on Canha. Slider near the outside corner, is a 90% strike, not called. Terrible non-call on that one. Poorly located cutter outside middle middle, hammers it to left Verdugo doesn't pick it up right away in the rain, but races back to the track and the weather keeps it in the park, he catches, 2 down.

Does Soto's hitting prowess reminds you of Manny Ramirez? NO Manny was an A-HOLE as a person. Hated him. Love Soto. Maybe I should not say person. As a player his cocky arrogance in a Soxs uniform was what I hated.

Never realized or forgot that Gulliver’s first name was Lemuel. I had an uncle Lemuel that my father thought the world of. He was the only one of his three brothers that didn’t make it to dad’s funeral, but to his defense he was doing missionary work in New Zealand at the time.
Imagine me with an uncle that was a minister…

Got a black magic marker - strike out by Santana! It is Cinco de Mayo, although this Santana isn't from Mexico. Are you having Mexican cuisine tonight? Forgot today is Cinco de Mayo.

Change on the outside corner, barely 0-1 Sinker in the zone thigh high inner 34de, taken, 0-2 Change bounced, 1-2 on Greene Cutter in the same spot as the 0-1 sinker, he fouls it off. Good change below the knees outer half, a good spoil but he foul tip hammers Trevino, so he gets a few seconds to rest. Another good change to the low outside corner, sounded like a foul tip, but the ump says no, just a swing and miss for the K, inning over.
Bottom 8, 5-2 Yanks.

Does Soto's hitting prowess reminds you of Manny Ramirez? NO Manny was an A-HOLE as a person. Hated him. Love Soto. True but Soto is as good a hitter as Pujols, Manny and Miguel Cabrera, just from the left side. Best left hand hitter since Ortiz, and doing it without PEDs.
