It was, but where the heck was Pena doing? He must have been running on the pitch, because he was already on second before he turned back…

It was, but where the heck was Pena doing? He must have been running on the pitch, because he was already on second before he turned back… Ok, that makes sense. Someone should be yelling at him to turn back on the pop though. Then you're right, and Cabrera's fast snap throw right on the money was decisive there. Sinker low, ball 4, Loperfido walks, and Stroman is done for tonight. Weaver coming in with man on 1st, 2 down to face Dubon or a pinch hitter.

Dubon is 2-6 vs. Weaver, both singles...
FB misses up and away, Wells tries to pick Loperfido but he gets back.

We just can't get away from DPs at critical times... But he really crushed that ball…

Cutter above the zone, hit hard to right, but Soto is near enough, runs back and hauls it in a few steps from the track to end the inning.
Bottom 6, 4-2 Astros.
4-5-6 for the Yanks: Verdugo, Stanton and Rizzo.

We just can't get away from DPs at critical times... But he really crushed that ball… Very true, but still his 11th DP... I am sure he is not too excited about that...

We just can't get away from DPs at critical times... But he really crushed that ball… Yep, 108.8. Ordinary for Judge, but not for your average MLB hitter.

Blanco going back out for the 6th is a sign Espada doesn't trust his pen much.

Slider waist high, outside corner, a mistake, but Verdugo gets under it to medium deep left center, Dubon gets it, 1 down.
The Name that Yankee is Joe Niekro, maybe? Not sure.

Stanton works the count to 2-2, then takes a slider above the waist, near the corner away for the MunsonMVP1976!, 2 down.

Rizzo... Curve outside, 1-0 Curve hangs high, 2-0. Slider just misses the corner up and away, 3-0 Fb outside at the top, ball 4.
And that's it for Blanco for tonight, he's done at 107 pitches.
