Berti goes after a 1st pitch FB down the middle, is late and under, hits a lazy fly to Lowe in right, 1 down.

What is Schmidt’s pitch count at end of four? Anyone notice?… 46 Nice to see. No walks. The DP helping. I often wonder if his third time through the order bugbear is actually simply fatigue from his heavy pitch count…

Lowe is a good hitter. Though I prefer Home Depot for my home and garden needs. Can't go to JP Sears anymore. I miss the smell of roasted peanuts, cashews, and popcorn from those old Sears stores.

I guess Soto needs to hit one out here.

Greetings, teammates. I've gone back to checking in late in hopes of reawakening that mojo I had for a couple of games. Wish we were a little further out in front, but better than yesterday when I arrived early. 👍

Lowe is a good hitter. Though I prefer Home Depot for my home and garden needs. Can't go to JP Sears anymore. Our local ACE is horrible. Luckily we have an older mom and pop hardware and builders supply store. Coolest Home Depot is 91 miles away in Salida…

Soto takes a 1st pitch splitter right down the middle, 0-1 Curve is nearly bounced, 1-1 Soto measuring him... Big breaking curve away, hit hard to the right side, Palacios dives to his right to snag it, gets up, throws off line to the HP side, but Diaz comes off, catches and tags Soto going by to end the inning. Hit it well, but no dice.
Bottom 5, 1-0 Yanks
Just 9 pitches for Bradley in the 5th, 76 through 5.
Ramirez, DeLuca, Palacios for the Rays in the 5th.
Knic down 5, 6:35 left in the half.

1st pitch cutter inside middle, Ramirez is late and under, flies to right near the line, Soto right there and catches, 1 pitch, 1 out.

A lot more chemistry with Meredith and Kay/O'Neill

Cutter outside to DeLuca, 1-0 Slider into the middle of the zone near the top, 1-1 Slider on the outside corner, popped behind 1st, Torres scares me by calling off Rizzo makes the over the shoulder catch, 2 down. Close to a collision there.

The name Joey DeLuca sounds like he did a dime at Attica.
