Big breaking slider starts outside and bends into the outer 3rd, 0-2
Cutter misses 6 inches high, 1-2
Cutter waist high outside corner, goes with it, a liner over Berti playing near shot, into left for a two out single.
The problem with Jeff's strategy is that Schmidt misses down the middle or waist high 1 or 2 times EVERY at abat.

Nice to see. No walks. The DP helping. I often wonder if his third time through the order bugbear is actually simply fatigue from his heavy pitch count… It's all about execution. Just ask Robespierre. A little Reign of Terror humor is always in good taste. |

Caballero takes a slider way low and outside, Palacios goes and Trevino just barely prevents a wild pitch, and cannot even throw to 2nd.

Hence my telling Jeff what was wrong with his strategy regarding making no mistakes
