Lowe tops a curve at the bottom of the zone to Rizzo, flips to Schmidt, inning over.
Good job defeating the leadoff single by Schmidt with both good pitches and a great pickoff move. Deserves to be allowed to start the 7th now.
Just 7 pitches in the 6th, 74 through 6.
Top 7, 1-0 Yanks.
Bottom of the order for the Yanks, Torres, Trevino and Berti.

So, my buddy is officially divorced after both parties signing papers on Wednesday. He wrote me today he's got a date tonight. Match.com. I have to tip my cap to him wanting to get back in the game so soon. Glad that it is final and that he is back in the game so quick!  I am happy for him to have a new beginning. He's been miserable for ten years. |

Sinker for a strike, then Torres takes 3 pitches well out of the zone, 3-1
Chases a sinker low that would've been ball 4, grounds out to Diaz, well off 1st, but still beats Torres to the bag. 1 down.

Sinker misses just inside, got a tiny piece of the corner on Gameday, 1-0
Sinker inside knocks Trevino back 2-0
Same pitch as the 1st, still not called a strike, 3-0
Sinker in the zone outer half, 3-1
Sinker on the inner 3rd. 3-2 on Trevino
