Slider on the low outside corner, 1-1
Slider low/outside, 2-1
Slider backs up inside, 3-1
Sticks the landing on the sinker, knee high, outer 3rd, 3-2
Sinker thigh high middle, hit hard up the middle, Palacios was playing right next to 2nd, takes several steps and dives to his right make a great backhand grab, fires quickly to first and Diaz digs it out, taking a hit away from Judge. Outstanding play at both ends, 1 down.

Chops a waist high Fb away to the right side, Palacios fields and throws low, but Diaz digs it out again, inning over.
Bottom 8, 1-0 Yanks.
12 pitch 1-2-3 for Adam.
Rays will send up their 7-8-9, Palacios, Caballero and maybe a PH for Jackson. Luke Weaver coming in for the Yanks, I think.
Maybe not. Not sure.

Palacios has never faced Weaver before. Holmes warming behind Weaver in the set up role for the first time and pitching back to back days just the 2nd time this season.

Caballero is 0-1 vs. Weaver
Foul tips a cutter outside corner, 0-1
Takes a FB outside by 2-3 inches, called strike 2 anyway, Weaver gets a pretty big break there.
FB about 4 inches outside near the bottom, doesn't get that call, too, 1-2
FB up and in spoiled.
Cutter away, above the waist, and Caballero takes a good swing but misses, pops it to medium short right, Soto comes in and catches, 2 down.
