Sinker to the low outside corner is strike 1. Rushes again, flies open again, Sinker sails way up and away, Trevino saves the WP. 1-1 Sinker stays just above the top of the zone, 2-1 Hamilton warming, which fills me with no confidence whatsoever. Sinker just outside middle, slapped to left for a single, Diaz holds 3rd as Verdugo gets right on it.

Based loaded. A base hit would tie it.

Deluca has never faced Holmes either, but he's had several big hits for the Rays,
Sinker bounced outside, 1-0 Slider into the top outside corner, 1-1 Slider low/away on the corner fouled off. 1-2 Holmes at 31 pitches now. Doesn't have much more left. Slider way outside, 2-2

Do they still have the Rolaids Relief Award? Holmes earns it.

Slider with some good break stays waist high, outside corner, popped back and out of play to the right side, still 2-2 Starts the slider for the outside corner, breaks 6 inches outside, DeLuca chases for the K, and the Yanks hold on for the win, 2-0!!!!
