That throw to 2nd was like spring training day 1 warmups. I'm just happy he didn't float it into right center for an error. 16 pitches for Schmidt in the 1st. Stanton, Rizzo, Torres for the Yanks in the 2nd.

I read something today the Stanton is the player with the most 4Ks in a game.

Stanton should not be able to hit this guy without a terrible location error on an offspeed
FB up and in the zone for a strike. FB above the zone, check swing foul Bounces a splitter outside. FB still 97-8 FB up and in makes Stanton lean back out of the way, 2-2 Cutter low in the middle, hit hard up the middle, Palacios standing just to the right of 2nd is right there, throws him out, 1 down.

I read something today the Stanton is the player with the most 4Ks in a game. Were they all in the last 3-4 years? Rizzo takes a curve into the top of the zone, 0-1 FB up and in, 1-1 FB above the zone, lined up the middle, but Caballero playing him a step to the left of 2nd, takes two steps to his left and catches, 2 down.

Schmidt looked like Zach Wilson throwing to a back on a short route BUT completing it.

Playing the name game...Bradley is the first and only Taj in MLB history. There have been two dozen major league players with the last name Bradley, including one who founded a major board game company, Milton. (Actually, the game company was founded in Massachusetts in 1860, 118 years before the outfielder was born. Hasbro bought them out in 1984, merged them with Parker Brothers in 1998, and discontinued manufacturing games under the name Milton Bradley in 2009. I enjoyed playing Life, Battleship and even Yahtzee when I was a kid. Sigh.) Another "Brand Name" player was Dodgers and Pirates OFer RJ Reynolds.

Big breaking cutter goes across the whole plate, freezing Torres, hits the outside corner for the ꓘ, inning over.
1-2-3 for Bradley on 13 pitches though Stanton and Rizzo hit the ball hard. 32 through 2.
0-0 bottom 2nd.
Ramirez, DeLuca and Palacios. DeLuca has had some big hits for the Rays since they called him up. They picked him up in the Glasnow trade.

Schmidt looked like Zach Wilson throwing to a back on a short route BUT completing it. It will be interesting to see if Sean Payton can turn Zach into a NFL QB.

The manufacturing process for aluminum foil is one of the nastiest, dirtiest processes of any industry in the world…
