Sinker above the knees, outer half, Palacios tries to pull it and fouls it off. Swings under a letter high cutter down the middle, 0-2 Back leg curve taken 1-2. Big break side to side on the curve tonight so far. Misses the inside corner with a sinker. Both Trevino and Schmidt wanted it but it missed by 2-3 inches. Curve inside, fouled, still 2-2 Sinker makes a bit of a move arm side, and Palacios misses late and under, hits a high fly to medium deep left, easy play for Verdugo, inning over.
10 pitch 1-2-3 for Schmidt thanks to the 1 pitch out by Ramirez leading off; 26 through 2.
Top 3, 0-0.
Trevino, Cabrera and Volpe for the Yanks in the 3rd.

It was one of those Yankee Fan FB pages that some up on your feed. I think it said he has 28 games with 4Ks I might have guessed a bit higher… like maybe 1/2 x that many…

Knic down 9-4 about 3:30 into the 1st quarter. I'm calling them the Knic and not the Knicks because they're missing 1/3 of the team due to injuries.

Cutter inside middle, fouled off, 0-1 Cutter just plain inside, 1-1 Cutter breaks high over the middle, 2-1 Trevino goes after a Fb out of the zone up and in, misses under. High fly to medium deep left is an easy play for Arozarena, 1 down.

Berti, excuse me, not Cabrera tonight Takes a FB up and in, 1-0 FB at the top at 97, swung under, 1-1 Takes a splitter below the waist, inner half, 1-2 Bounces a splitter, 2-2 Splitter just high, Jackson tries to pull it down, no sale, 3-2 Cutter starts at his body, freezes him, and it breaks into the zone down and in, ꓘ.
Looks like a long night for the hitters unless he gets tired.

If I were in charge of the Trop, I think I'd use more LED lighting or some of those mechanic lights hanging off the catwalks. Like playing in a cave.

Flash adding a little humor tonight. I'm stuck with the Rays broadcast, but I noticed a few times a year Flash slips in some very understated humor.

Caballero chases a curve well outside, 0-1 Curve drops into the zone for a strike, 0-2 SMDH 0-2 curve thigh high outer 3rd, slapped through the right side for a leadoff single Worst curve of the three on the 0-2. Bad pitching.
