Slider thigh high middle, rolled foul down the first base line, but turns foul, 0-1
FB on the high inside corner, fouled off, 0-2
FB above the waist outside corner, popped sky high foul off 3rd. Berti watches it fly between girders, then catches, inning over.
Very good bounceback inning for Nestor, a 1-2-3 on just 13 pitches and 67 through 4.
Top 5, 4-2 Yanks. Cabrera, Grisham and back to the top for Volpe for the Yanks in the 5th.
Next inning is the acid test for Nestor, he has to face Diaz and Rosario again.

Splitter misses down and in, 2-0
Slider into the top of the zone, popped foul well back of 3rd, Paredes has to come way over in the shift, but makes an outstanding over the shoulder catch near the stands in back of 3rd, 1 down.

Grisham misses a FB on the inside corner, 0-2
Fouls off a slider into the top of the zone inner half, 0-2
Sinker below waist, outside corner, Grisham lunges on a protect-swing and pops it behind 3rd, much easier play for Paredes, 2 down.

Sinker outside middle is a strike to Soto, Volpe goes, and the throw goes into center, but Volpe doesn't realize because of a great fake by Caballero holding the "tag" on him. By the time Volpe sees where the ball is, it's too late to advance

Slider up and in, and Soto's on time, but misses under, hits a high fly to DeLuca in medium right to end the inning. Close, but no barrell.

1st pitch curve to Diaz is CLEARLY in the zone up and in, not called. Bad call that hurts Cortes against this batter.
