Cabrera grounds one near or over the bag at 3rd, Miranda backhands, throws him out, inning over.
Bottom 8, 4-0 Yanks. Funderburk at 29 pitches total.
Weaver probably gets another inning; he'll face 2-3-4, Larnach, Jeffers and Kepler.

Was that a Castro error??? Or a Judge base hit. Definitely a double, but Castro started in on a ball driven deep over his head. There should be a special stat kept called a “Stupid” for plays like that…Hitter still gets his hit, no error charged because it doesn’t fit the circumstance. Just made a Stupid… Someone leads the league in Stupids every year…Be nasty e to know who… Base-running errors should be called boneheads. For example, "Gleyber leads the Yankees in boneheads thus far this season."

This is a new, converted reliever version of Weaver. The Yankees made some adjustments to his repertoire. m I don’t want to see him spot starting. Keep him in his zone… He's become too valuable in late innings for that.

FB way high, 1-0 on Kepler Cutter inside, thigh high, chased and fouled, 1-1 Change in the zone on the low inside corner, taken, 1-2 Change bounced over home, 2-2 Same pitch bounced on home, 3-2 Weaver working himself into a jam here. Weaver steps off Change into the outer 3rd, down in the zone, fouled. Kepler takes his timeout now.

Cutter outside middle, and Kepler doesn't miss this one...lines a single to center. Jeffers stops at 2nd with 1 out. Blake or Trevino paying Weaver a visit here.
