I think the Knicks are spent Tonkin too, but one of these things is more important than the other. Slider near middle middle, grounded up the middle to the left of 2nd, Volpe dives but can't get it. Single moves Julks to 2nd with nobody out. Holmes up and throwing as one more runner makes this a save situation. |

Trevino stalls, and then Boone comes out to bring in Holmes in what is not quite a save situation.

Yanks win 7-2, sweep the White Sox, their 2nd straight series sweep, and their 7th straight win.
They get to 18 over for the 1st time this season at 33-15, and have won 13 of 15 and all 5 series since the O's took 3 of 4 from them at Camden Yards 2 1/2 weeks ago.
Another nice quiet polite beating of a much weaker team. Yanks have been quietly dominant in this streak, winning each game by 2 to 5 runs, outscoring their opponents 42-12. Very, very impressive run here. They've allowed no more than 2 runs in any of the last six games, and a total of 6 runs combined.
