I was on the phone when Volpe was called out. Was that the correct call? You mean right now? That was Berti and it was correct. Got him on the shoe before he slid in.
Earlier it was Volpe and also the right call.

Sinker darts to the knees in the middle, 2-1
Slider drops just low and outside, Rodriguez chases and bounces it foul near home, 2-2
Hangs the slider near the corner away, but Rodriguez doesn't time it, pops it foul out of play off the right side
Tries to back the sinker over the corner away, Kay says "just missed" but it missed by 6 inches. 3-2
Sinker dives inside corner waist high, Rodriguez spoils it.

Rodriguez calls his timeout just as Holmes came set.
Backs the sinker to the outer 3rd low in the zone, topped to the left of the mound, no chance to get the blazing Rodriguez, I'm yelling "eat it! eat it!!" but Holmes throws way late, fortunately on target. Infield hit.
