Game over right there sans the Gleyber error. Unless I don’t know the scoring rules, Holmes still hasn’t allowed an earned run. If Gleyber makes the throw we probably sealed this on by now. Can a second baseman be charged with a blown save?…🤓 |

boone pulls holmes. certainly didn't have his best stuff but not helped by his defense - the gleyber error and the indecision between judge & soto (will have to see that one again). nonetheless we now have to walk it off

FB thigh high middle, 0-2
Cutter outside, 1-2
Cutter outside right near the first one, 2-2
FB above and inside of middle, fouled off.
Cutter low, away, 3-2
FB in the drops the bat happy zone down and in, Crawford is late and under, pops to center, Judge moves a couple of steps to his right, catches, inning over.

67.8 mph
80.2 mph
75.5 mph
And Torres had an error, too.

Bottom 9, 5-4 Yanks
The presence of Soto gives the Yanks a shot vs. any pitcher, even Munoz, but it's still a tough assignment.

Judge is 0-1 with a BB and a K> Not promising.
FB 98-99 about half the time
Slider 88-89 the other half.
