Austin Voth comes in to pitch the 8th for the M's He'll face Judge, Verdugo and Rizzo. Voth is a 4 pitch righty cutter 89-90 about 35%, FB 93-4 about 33%, slider 82-3 about 20%, Curve 76 about 12%

weaver's 18 inning scoreless streak over. now we have a game. But a solo HR wouldn't hurt them in this case, it's the two walks by Tonkin that really hurt. Drives me nuts when relief pitchers walk the leadoff hitter.

Slider outside, 1-0 on Judge Slider way outside is a blown call, 1-1, Missed by 5-6 inches not even close. Curve low, 2-1 Fb in the zone down and in fouled off, 2-2
WHAT? NOT A STRIKE?? WHY NOT?? FB misses high and well outside, 3-2 Fb outside near the bottom ball 4 on ball 5. Judge walks to start the 8th.

Verdugo jumps ugly on a 1st pitch waist high FB inner 3rd, and belts it into the first couple of rows of the real bleachers in right center, Yanks strike right back, 2 run shot makes it 7-3 Yanks!!
