Did they say how far Judge's home run traveled? 423 for Soto, 409 for Judge, 417 for Stanton. Seemed like Judge’s was further. I thought Stanton's might have been further too. |

Cutter inside, Soto doesn't get the call, should be 2-0 but it's 1-1
Soinker low, 2-1
Cuter up and in, fouled off 2-2
Sinker on the corner away, fouled off
Cutter hangs way high 3-2
Fb above the zone, chased and fouled off, still 3-2
Sinker inside, Soto hits it hard, but gets just under it, fly to the track in right, Tatis back to the track, leaps and catches. Might have gone out, but Tatis had plenty of time to get back there, it was hit so high.

Strange time to pull Darvish. I guess I’m a dinosaur, because I don’t understand much of modern baseball thinking… It wasn't his night, a lot of pitches thrown by that arm. I thought that he should have been taken out of the game sooner. But, to be fair, I don't know the Padres bullpen situation. |
