No Yankees game on Memorial day? That stinks. Every team should be playing on the holidays.

No need to rush Cole. Make sure he's fit for service heading to the second half of the season. For sure, he'll be well rested for battle. Agreed Lauren.

Sinker, waist high, inside corner, 0-1 on Verdugo. Sinker low, 1-1 FB above the zone inside middle, chases and swings under, 1-2 Sinker runs away, but misses high, 2-2 Great change dives low over the middle, swung on and missed, K, inning over
Bottom 7, 7-0 Yanks. Machado, Cronenworth and Solano for the Padres in the 7th.

With all of the Yankees HRs, I didn't realize that the Padres only have two hits.

Rangers just won it!! But Refs are reviewing a high stick knocking the puck down by Goodrow. but not in the offensive zone, so waived off Goodrow scores off a return pass from Trocheck!!!
Rangers win a game the only way they can. Great game by Shesterkin and get 2 goeals off Bobrovsky

And I missed the Padres getting the first two guys on in the 7th.
Machado works the count to 3-1, then takes a FB low for ball 4. Cronenworth went with a 1-0 FB outside corner, grounded it through the left side for a hit. 1st and 2nd, 1 down for Solano, and Boone goes to take out Rodon at 93 pitches.

A fourth straight excellent start by Rodon, even if Santana allows both inherited runners to scores. That's Graig Nettles

Went to the Omaha Storm Chasers game (we live 1/2 mile away from the stadium) and got distracted. I expected to do well against the Padres, but this is a pleasant surprise. Remember when a lot of us were worried about Judge (I was one of them)? How silly. Hope you had a good time! Any exciting prospect for the Royals? I wish they would trade all their up and comers to us like they used to. Storm Chasers games are always a blast. Minor League baseball in general is fun (and affordable!). We've been very fortunate; when we lived in Colorado Springs, we were less than a mile from the now defunct Colorado Springs Sky Sox's Security Services Field, so we'd go to several games a year. We built are new house in 2020 practically across the street from Werner Park here in Papillion, so we take the girls to about a game a month during the season and have a blast. Minor League parks are so much more intimate than their MLB counterparts. The Storm Chasers are mostly stocked with AAAA players this seasons so far. I don't follow the Royals closely enough to know where they're currently stashing their top prospects, but the Chasers' roster is mostly stocked with older guys (older in "prospect years" LOL, 25 and up).
