Hope you had a good time! Any exciting prospect for the Royals? I wish they would trade all their up and comers to us like they used to.  Storm Chasers games are always a blast. Minor League baseball in general is fun (and affordable!). We've been very fortunate; when we lived in Colorado Springs, we were less than a mile from the now defunct Colorado Springs Sky Sox's Security Services Field, so we'd go to several games a year. We built are new house in 2020 practically across the street from Werner Park here in Papillion, so we take the girls to about a game a month during the season and have a blast. Minor League parks are so much more intimate than their MLB counterparts. The Storm Chasers are mostly stocked with AAAA players this seasons so far. I don't follow the Royals closely enough to know where they're currently stashing their top prospects, but the Chasers' roster is mostly stocked with older guys (older in "prospect years" LOL, 25 and up). Nice! Most important question, How's the food there? |

A fourth straight excellent start by Rodon, even if Santana allows both inherited runners to scores. That's Graig Nettles I missed the clue when Nettles is the "Name that Yankee".  |

Chases another slider well low and away, 0-2
Slider bounced outside, 1-2
Well, he swung on the 1st two, might as well try a 3rd worse than the first two.
Thigh high slider outside, middle, grounded sharply but right to Berti, who starts a 5-4-3 DP to get out of the jam and end the inning.
Santana gets it done.
Top 8, 7-0 Yanks. Stanton, Rizzo and Torres for the Yanks in the 8th, probably against a different reliever, as Kolek is at 29 pitches
...and the new reliever is old friend Jhony Brito, who was one of the four pitchers the Yanks traded to the Padres for Soto.(along with Higgy).

Change waist high, outside corner, grounded to the 56 hole, but Solano is playing right there in the shift, throws him out, and it looks like Rizzo is the wallflower tonight, didn't join the party.
