Verdugo gets a thigh high change on the inside corner, tries to repeat the HR, but grounds it hard right to Regnifo on the right side of 2nd, flips to Neto for the force, inning over.
Yanks leaving way too many guys on base here, gang.

Moniak takes a FB high, ball 1
Change just below middle middle, Moniak is early and on top, smacks it hard to Rizzo's right, he dives to field, flips to Gil, 1 down. Fine play by Rizzo, doesn't make up for last night, but still, nice to see.

Change waist high outside middle, bad spot, belted hard to deep left center, but Judge gets the jump, goes back to get it, 2 down.

At the start of this game, Gil didn't qualify for the ERA title, now he does. He's now 4th in the AL in ERA. Seth Lugo actually leads the league at 1.74 for KC.

Angels announcers wishcasting, saying the Yanks don't push Gil, let's see how long he stays in.

Torres, Rizzo and Trevino for the Yanks in the 6th.
Adam Cimber comes in to relieve Anderson, another good game for him, working into and out of trouble.

Gil with eight strikeouts though five shutout innings. He deserves more than one run, especially with Chicken-Leg Anderson pitching.
