Pickoff play, and Volpe has to make a quick move to keep the errant throw to 2nd from getting away.
Change misses well outside, 3-0, and Poteet is building trouble for himself following the error.

Slidere misses outside by 2-3 inches waist high, but called strike 2 anyway. Schmitt starts to throw the bat away, and he's right to be annoyed, because it was 0% on Gameday.

Not sure he left too soon, couldn't tell for sure on the replay from behind home.
