Seriously, can we pleeeeeeaaaasssseeeee be done with Santana? He is awful. The Yankees have several arms in the minors better than this guy. Take yer pick. He's a gas can. And it's not like they're hoping he can rediscover some past form where he was an actual effective MLB pitcher. He topped out at mediocre three years ago in Texas. He's been bad each other year. I don't get it. |

Verdugo can't catch them all. Another hard hit ball off Santana, who shouldn't have even started this inning.

Change low and away, Margot has to lunge for it, and still manages to hit a fliner to left center, Judge comes over from right of center and catches.
They're even hitting bad pitches fairly hard now.

Slider outside, bounced sharply up the middle, Santana tries to whip around and glove it behind him, fortunately misses it, as Gleyber makes a fine backhand stop behind the bag, throws out Correa as Farmer scores, 9-5 Yanks
Excellent play by Gleyber there.

Santana has been pretty bad tonight, but he did make it through 6 outs. Not sure if it's worth the 3 runs, but it worked. Sort of.
