Tonkin threw 19 pitches last night, they hope he can get through Hernandez and Pages without increasing the deficit.
They both faced him last night, and they both fanned. Not a great idea to let a mediocre reliever face the same guys two night in a row.
Especially good hitters.

we may be dipping into this Tomkin well too often I would rather be watching Marinnaccio here. Then again, I'd rather be watching the Rangers v. Oilers at MSG this evening, but we can't always get what we want. |
