Cabrera should've let that roll
Breaks his bat on the slider down and in, slow roller down 3rd, Cabrera charges, barehands, fires a strike, but Loftin beats it for a hit. 1st and 2nd, 1 down
It was turning foul, and it would've accelearated foul once it rolled off the grass to the dirt.

Beats him clean with a FB at 97 just high and away out of the zone, 0-2
FB above the zone near middle, Fermin somehow tops that right to Volpe, and he starts a relatively easy 6-4-3 DP, two outs and Valazquez to 3rd with Melendez up.

Fb at the high inside corner swung under, 0-1 on Melendez
FB high, 1-1
Slider gets a small piece of the top of the zone outer 3rd, not called. 10-20% on Gameday
FB above the top, outside middle, fouled, 2-2
Slider to the low outside corner, Melendez tries to go to left, pops it shortish left, easy play for Verdugo, inning over.
AFter the 1st two guys got hits, Rodon used the Cole Method. His next five fastballs: 4 at 97, one at 98.
Top 6, 4-0 Yanks.
20 pitches for Rodon in the 5th, 70 through 4.
6-7-8 for the Yanks: Grisham, Jones and Trevino.
And as the break told everyone, O's win 5-2 and sweep the 4-game series in Tampa, closing again to just 2 games back of the Yanks.
