Sweeper into the top of the zone for strike 1 to Jones.
Slider waist high outside corner, popped to short left center, Witt goes well back, makes it look easy, 2 down.

Getting nice and cool here this evening. It was around 82 yesterday when a the most wonderful mistral blew through. It only got up to about 70 today before we have a thunderstorm and rain blow through to knock the temp down almost ten degrees…
I’m quite happy sitting next to the screen door…

Bad at bat by Trevino there.
Can't swing first pitch, getting Rodon rest after working hard in his 5th is more important.
FB inside corner and hit pretty well, but the fliner is an easy play for Hampson, inning over.
Bottom 6, 4-0 Yanks
7-pitch 1-2-3 for Lugo and 84 through 6.
Blanco, Hampson then back to the top for Garcia in the Royals' half of the 6th.

Top 7, 4-0 Yanks.
10 pitch 1-2-3 for Rodon, 80 through 6.
Cabrera, then back to the top for Volpe and Soto for the Yanks in the 7th.
And just to amplify what I said in a reply earlier, just for Jeff Nelson, I just checked batter by batter and Rodon threw 6 changeups the first time through the Royals order.
